You'll not have a lot of joy getting a reply, Goa is a state with many tourist places, you need to mention where you'll be departing from in Goa.

The useful train that goes to Gokarna Rd station would get you there for about 16:00, then you'd need to get to the town and beach, so I won't give details as you must have found that train, or you don't want to be arriving at about 17:00.

Regular buses ply from Madgaon bus stand to Karwar / Gokarna. You should not have trouble finding one to get you there by 10.

No Booking !!Best way is when you are in Margoa check the frequency of the busses and just turn up the next morning .I have been on this rout many times ,and you just turn up .You should be able to get to Gokarna by midday
