From/to Bundi

I want to go to Bundi from Jaipur and after I want to reach Udaipur, but there aren’t train connexions between these towns. Then, does anybody know what buses I can take for these journeys? Are there buses everyday?

yes there are buses everyday from jaipur to bundi, there is one delux bus and the rest are ordinary. it takes about 5 to 6 hours to get there (i have done this trip many times and if you can afford it take the delux bus). all the buses leave from the jaipur bus station but the delux bus is a separate platform. any of the taxi drivers will be able to point you in the right direction.

from bundi to udaipur - you need to catch the bus to kota which takes about 1 hour and then a bus from kota to udaipur. the kota to udaipur bus may have changed so ask at bundi bus station just to make sure. udaipur is lovely and i suggest you stay at the mahendra prakash hotel (depending on your budget - from R450 per night but it does have a swiming pool!). i am well known here and have stayed many times and have always been looked after well.

Train 2956 departs Jaipur at 14:05 (Daily) and gets to Kota (about 37 km from Bundi) at 17:30.

On post 13 of the following thread, you will find details of trains from Bundi to Udaipur, though a change of train at Chittaurgarh is needed.
