Drive time Jaipur to Delhi

Hello,

What would be the drive time from Jaipur city to Delhi domestic terminal? How are the road and traffic conditions in July? If I had an 8 pm flight out of Delhi, when would be a prudent time to start from Jaipur?

I can't say how long it may take in a hurry; it took me from mid-morning to 5pm but we weren't in a great hurry. I stopped for lunch and also did a little sight-seeing en-route. However, I would not allow less than 4 hours if you are needing to be certain about catching a flight - all sorts of things can unexpectedly delay you. Much of the road is excellent with two lanes each way, but much also has roadworks or other delays.

The last 40km into Delhi was particularly slow. maybe we just struck a bad day.

Also allow time for any security delays at the airport.

yest the last 50 kms or so will be very slow. too many traffic jams. allow about 7 hours for the whole journey.

It is quite possible that you can do it in 5.

Traffic may not be that bad at the time- presume you will want to reach the airport by 6.45 or 7pm latest.

But a flight to catch... better keep an hour or two in hand. That makes singsub's 7.
