DL Checks?
Hi
I am planning Srinagar - Leh - Manali trip on bike. But a big issue is that I have a valid DL for bike without gear and LMV only. Will this be a show-stopper? Are there too many checks on the way - especially in Srinagar and Leh? Will the checks be detailed enough to read M/CY - WOG (Motorcycle - Without gear) on my DL? What do you guys advice? I am more worried about your riding experience. While there may not be too many checks - do you have long distance reiding experience and if you do then making a licence in India is no big deal, in fact you can get a licence even if you dont know to ride properly.
