delhi-chandigarh from domestic airport or ISBT

i want to travel to chandigarh/manali. how to make (if possible) a reservation for the 06.00 hrs bus from domestic? or the 07.20 hrs bus from kasmere gate? HRTC has no internet booking facilities at the moment and they do not answer my mails.

I'm also looking for information about taxi fares for Chandigarh to Manali and try to find a relieable taxi company. Suggestions?

Also: I travel from Delhi to Manali in the early morning of July 7, after arriving at International Airport 00.50 hrs.
Planning to take a bus but maybe by taxi if someone wants to share one?

It's not so common still I think to find buses bookable (or even represented) online. So it's mostly a matter of rocking up there and seeing how far it gets you. If these people cater to airport arrivals, you'd think they'll be geared to just that.

You could try this thread Online bus ticket reservation sites but remember it doesn't guarantee anything, and if a company or route is not listed there that tells you nothing about the situation on the ground.

From Airport reach ISBT (Kashmiri Gate) and catch the bus from there. Else you can contact the HP tourism and book the Volvo Bus whcih leaves from their CP office in the evening and takes you to Manali by next day morning. You can try their site.

the CP office of HP tourism (and a lot of other tourisms) is housed in the Chandralok building.

Ordinary buses for Chandigarh leave every few minues from ISBT Kashmere Gate. Go to platform 6-8 and catch the next available bus.

Another option is to take the Kalka Shatabdi train from New Delhi, dep 07:40 or the Himalayan Queen at 05:55. You should be able to take either of these trains if your arrival is on time.
