Car drivers accommodation on route ????

If we hire a car with driver through an agent or hire company, where does the driver stay and who pays for accom if required ?

A long long time ago I seem to remember the drivers often slept in their vehicles, but is that still the case decades latter ?

Still the case. Some hotels have sleeping rooms or driver's quarters. You can give the driver money for a room but he won't spend it on a room.

very intresting case, its all to be done by tour company.they provide everything for them. some time with in the hotels and few cases they sleep some where close to hotel. they get food there. there have been a lot improvement reagrding this. of course they are the one who takes you arround.
