Car/Driver Decision to Make
Hello all,
I'm back and need some more opinions!! Yeesh, I've opened myself up for a flood of responses. After SEVERAL inquiries to what seems like a zillion car/driver companies, I've received a quote that seems very reasonable. December 14 - 21, 2007 / Starting in New Delhi -> Agra -> Jaipur -> Back to New Delhi / 8 Days Total. Price quoted is $320 and includes "fuel, unlimited kilometers, interstate tax, toll tax, parking fees, local sightseeing, car insurance, English speaking driver and his allowance" He's offered us EITHER an Indigo Marina or an Ambassador / both AC. So the questions are: Is the price okay? Seems reasonable to me, especially since I'm splitting it with another passenger. Which Car? The Indigo Marina seems more modern and possible more comfortabl, while the Ambassador just SCREAMS I-N-D-I-A to me!! Thank you for your ever so wise counsel. ScarletLSG |

Go for Indigo Marina (Station wagon) and the price seems to be very competitive for 8 days..

Can you tell me if you have heard of Voyage India Tours? They are very responsive by e-mail ... the most responsive of the MANY companies I've contacted, to include even Oberoi Maidens Hotel, to try to make this arrangement. Again, many thanks. ScarletLSG |
