Buses to Dharamsala/Ladakh questions

I apologise for any inherent naivity in my post, i am currently in the process of hurriedly planning my first trip to india (i leave next wednesday) in amongst overwhelming study commitments.

anyways...i was wanting to catch a bus from delhi to dharamsala.

i found a website for the himchal road transport corporation. are these the best folks to go with? how far ahead do i need to make a reservation.

i know i should be catching the train then bus, but for some reason i don't like having to make transfers and what not. i prefer the simple direct, albeit vomit inducing, route.

also, this is probably a stupid question again, how do you then get the bus from dharamsala to ladakh? i know you get the bus to manali but then what? is there a website with times and what not on it?

If anyone can help out with this, i will be so very grateful. i may even be tempted to use this emoticon:

Never apologise ; everyone is here because they like being here ( and be able to travel vicariously thru others while waiting for the next flight)

More to the point : there are evening buses from Delhi to Dhasa , leaving (sevenish , the way i remember it ) from the Tibetan settlement Manju Ka Tilla , making another stop at .. don´t remember(Connaught ??) taking around 12 hrs.

I used Potala Tours and Travels for the bus last time , a pleasant experience .
