Bus timetable in India
Does anyone know where I can find online the bus timetable of India for me to better arrange my itinerary? Thank you.

An online oversight of the Indian bus timetable would be one humungous task.
I applaud vasuki for coming through with one string in the web!
To set your mind at ease though, India has a great bus system which will take you pretty much anywhere you want to go but planning up front well maybe a guide book such as the LP or the rough guide would be better suited. Though India is changing so fast there may well be other members who will tell you otherwise.
India's bus system is de-regulated so some private carriers offer better services than the various state run bus services, although this is not always the case.
If you are more specific in your destinations then this site offers a world of info and there may well be someone who has travelled the road before you and can furnish you with the necessary info.
But you can get a bus to anywhere in India, and in-situ your hotel manager can set you in the right direction or a rickshaw visit to the local State Bus Stand will give you an idea of price and time taken!!

And the next hurdle is getting on the right bus, and getting it to leave on time, not to stop to pick up wood being poached by the forestry officers, etc..
Unlike the Railways, which are under one management divided into zones only for administrative convenience, the buses are run by the respective states and by private operators.
It logically follows that there cannot be a common bus timetable for India.
You can find a few individual state bus time tables on the net, one of which has been given above by vasuki.
