Can anyone help, I am trying to book a bus from Jodhpur to Udaipur for March 2010. The bus sites I have visited do not seem to show a service between these cities...any ideas?
Wait until you are in Jodhpur.
There you will find a lot of travel agencies where you can book.
Often the hotel can arrange it for you.
The journey takes an hour of six.

As I had a bad experience with e-tickets for bus this year and a good experience with buying a sleeper bus tickets from Udaipur to Jodhpur in one of Udaipur travel agency - I would advise you to wait until you arrive to Jodhpur. There are plenty of sleeper buses and you can buy tickets without any problem.
