| bus Bangalore to Ooty hello, considering Beach's reply and tips about the Nilgiri train (thread) , I might take the bus from Bangalore to Ooty.  Are there direct bus from Bangalore to Ooty or do I need a stopover in Mysore?thank you, Kailash |

|  I went the other way...I took one of those tourist buses from Ooty to Mysore and had a awful journey...  basically im not a very bus-friendly person and the journey took us almost 5 hours. Once in Mysore, you find plenty of buses from Mysore to B'lore. So Im sure there would be direct buses from B'lore to Ooty but it will be like streching ur self too far...(that is if u can take it!)  |

| I'm sure KSTDC and/or TTDC must be running deluxe coaches from Bangalore to Ooty. You may check on their respective websites for information on the subject.
