bike trip and shopping in mumbai

Hallo everyone.

I am planning a bicycle solo trip in India out of mumbai in december.
I will buy a bike there, does anyone have any suggestion about bike shops?

I thought of biking down the coast, how is the road until goa, very hilly?
Also I am a bit worried about the rain in the south at this time of the year, but I guess that won't kill me...

finally, does anyone know where to get the LP atlas in mumbai or a good map?

of course, write a line if you have any type of suggestions or comments.

Wish you all the best on your bike trip !! Cannot offer yo any tips on this, but regarding LP books and atlases, the same will be available at most of the bookshops in South Mumbai - check out D.N. Road in the Fort area and Strand Book Stall off P.M. road in the vicinity.

Bombay goa road is not hilly
just 2 ghats in between

It rains only in Tamil Nadu at this part of the year
