Agra – Shimla bus

Are there buses, similar to the HRTC or HPTDC Volvo buses traveling from Agra to Shimla at noon to early afternoon? And how long is the travel time?

I know you're asking for bus info, though I'm sort of wondering why there would be a direct bus, you'd likely have to change buses in Delhi.

But for others, often a trip to Shimla is a chance to experience the Kalka - Shimla toy train, it's said to be one of the most scenic train routes in India.

The following train meets one of the toy train at Kalka.

Train 2311 departs Tundla (25kms from Agra) daily at 16:58 and gets to Kalka at 04:45 (1A, 2A, 3A, SL.)

The train is supposed to wait at (old) Delhi station from 20:40 till 22:00, a good opportunity to stretch your legs, just watch your luggage.

This route won't necessarily save time (over the Agra-Delhi-Kalka route), but will take the pressure off if you're worried about catching a connecting train in Delhi.
