A month of scooter riding in Kerala and Goa..
Hey guys,
Four friends and I plan to ride scooters from Trivandrum to Fort Cochin, then put our bikes on the train (I hear you can do this?) and travel to Goa. We'll then use them for our time there and somehow get rid of them before we fly out.
A few questions:
-is there a functioning, practical Bike Trader type set-up run by any organisation where we could hire scooters and then drop therm off at a corresponding point to avoid having to actually purchase bikes? We would just rent scooters in Kerala, then in Goa again, but we want to be able to travel the 300km from Triv to Cochin without having to backtrack. Any ideas on how to pull this off?
-What price does a used and cheap 100cc scooter go for? Are there any reputable places in Trivandrum to buy or is it a case of contacts with individuals on online ebay-type sites?
