'Women of the Raj' Coping with heat
This book by Margaret Macmillan tells of how women coped with India, and is a very interesting read for those who think it is going to be too hot in May.
I bought a copy 03/09 at the Jain bookshop in Delhi. Try to get it |

I read that book, its interesting, it actually got me to buy another book, "Wicked women of the Raj" by Coraline Younger. Its about European women who married Indian princes. It was a short but interesting read.
