Which Bollywood movie is this?
Wonder if any of you Bollywood buffs can help me, in our local Indian restaurant they show constant Bollywood clips - many are just music clips I think, but some are trailers or scenes from movies - I sometimes recognise the more famous of the actors and actresses. There are 2 in particular I thought looked like they might be good - can anyone identify them,
One: A beautiful woman is married to a wealthy man, they seem distant - she has twin daughters, the clip shows them going to an enormous house with the babies, she lies on the bed with the babies and he goes to his office and works and then different clips as the daughters get older.. all in very sumptuous surrounds. In every scene there is the ghost?? of another woman - presumably his ex? Dead wife? Two: There is a married couple - on their honeymoon? They walk over a bridge etc - she is unhappy though and thinking of someone else...then there was a series of flashbacks I think to her with the other guy... apparently the husband gives her up in the end to the other man and its all OK according to a girl in the restaurant. |

I know, sorry - it was a very upmarket looking one, quite moodily shot, not so bright and garish as the usual ones.

By George you ARE good! I just looked at the synopsis for Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and you could be right - now that I think of it they could well have been in Italy... looking for her true love. I didn't recognise Aishwarya though and usually I would have, although this is quite an old movie.

Yes - you are right http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmlsvG84DWw this is the clip I saw - kind of a trailer I guess. I'll go and try to rent it, I wonder if I can get it with subtitles, it looks great. The poor husband though ... Now what about the woman with the twins?

its an awesome movie....I guess from 1999..
I have no Idea about the other one..twins and a ghost.. PS : Btw .. Hum Dil..... has been directed by the same person who directed Devdas and now Saawariya...i.e. Sanjay Leela Bhansali and besides Aishwarya, it starts much bigger star in form of Salman Khan... |

Not sure if its a real ghost or just in her mind - the husband is older and,as I said, wealthy - she is young and seems to do nothing but look after the children. In a later scene she picks them up from kindy .. then we had to leave the restaurant! Didn't see what happened in the end... the trailers tend to tell the entire story don't they?

I really like Hum Dil De Chuke Sonam - great music, good perfomances and great chemistry between main characters. As for Bewafaa - i don't care much about the movie, but I think it's my own taste ![]() |

Since they gave so awful reviews for two of my this year's fav movies - Salaam-e-Ishq and Jhoom Barabar Jhoom - I don't care about their opinion at all
But as for Saawariya - I think it could be really not the best Bhansali's movie... Let's wait and see |
