Question What Bollywood remake would you like to see?

If you could commission your own Bollywood version of a Hollywood movie - what would it be?

Here's a first suggestion ...

The Turbanator

"Give me you kurta, your slippers and your Activa"

- spoken with an Austro-Punjabi accent.

Umbartha

Does it have to be an old Bollywood movie If so ignore this. Else, I'd suggest a Bollywood remake of Umbartha - a 1982 Indian parallel/new wave cinema movie, starring Smita Patil.

The remake would have to be in Hindi of course, we need songs and dances; the plot-line needs to be tightened too, IMO. Since seeing "ShootOut at Lokhandwala" I'm persuaded that serious subjects CAN be tackled by Bollywood.

I'd say that Rani Mukerjee should take the lead role that Smita Patil took.
