Western cds
Just wondering if you can buy cds with western music (the latest hits) in India. If so any idea of prices?

no problem in major cities for sure....
around 100--400 ruppes only.. maybe try your luck at connaught place in dehli.. indiamike posted a good adress! |

Most of the major labels, Sony, Wea, etc..etc..sell cd's of the latest artists. You will have better luck in the bigger cities then in small towns.
A good shop is Planet M (very much like Tower Records) which has a few locations around India. The quality of these cds is also first rate. Surprisingly the selection available of western music is also very good. Mike |

you could also look for the "Musicworld" chain of stores accross india...they have a huge selection too.

there is also the street shops where you can buy them cheap and even barter on the price with the owner of the shop so you are happy with what you a paying
