Tomorrow I'm off to Delhi, so I'm already planning my attack. I've found the best way to counter-act the chaos is to put on my head-phones and drone out the madness by listening to overly bearded men singing softly calming songs. So my game plan is to listen to Iron and wine, Will Oldham, and Devandra Banhart. And not wanting to discriminate against the non-bearded I'll probably listen to Illinios by Sufjan Stevens. And just to throw in some gender confusion Antony and the Jonhsons.

So Ambika, there is another Bonnie Prince Billy fan in India. But my being here has caused great sadness and loss, because while I've been here Will Oldham was touring NZ. Missing my only chance of seeing him, and now a terrible internet contection.....why do you spite me India?!

"Midival Times" by Midival Punditz. Saw this New Delhi based electronic band on Zee a couple of weeks ago and had to get their CD. The song "Kesiriya" is just incredible. Their music is superb mix of old and new.
