Just discovered this amazing Cambodian band called Dengue Fever. Definitely worth a look if you can find it!

I remember Dengue Fever did the feature track 'Both Sides' for the movie City of Ghosts(2002). You might like that movie/soundtrack if you enjoy their music.

Here's their website with songs available for download as well.
denguefevermusic.com

Apparently they're a band out of LA with a Cambodian-American singer, and were inspired by Cambodian 60 - 70's pop music.

I didn't realize they were an American band. The friend who introduced me to their stuff said something about the lead singer "getting better at singing in English", so I assumed they were just straight up Cambodian.

Either way, good good stuff.

Paralyzer-Finger Eleven, great escape- boys like girls, probably the two I can't get enough of right now. I love all kinds though. Willie Nelson, Nickelback, ac/dc, the Doors, Bob Seger, Madonna, Kid Rock, I like all kinds!!

Wow! Loving it. Thanks Opo and Chaos for sharing Dengue Fever. That myspace page is playing some good tracks for me. I think I can directly download the mp3s.

And hey that video too is nice. Do not understand all of it though

EDIT: Oops no...cannot download .
