that thread here on Nair's 'Beatles in Varanasi' made me dig out some songs from this GREATEST band. I had been listening just a few of them. Wow! All of their songs are just amazing. Have been playing it for the last 3 days!!
We all live in a yellow submarine yellow submarine yellow submarine We all live in a yellow submarine yellow submarine yellow submarine I just love that chorus....simply great! in a peculiar way Beatles' songs are really different from others I am listening to. btw I have deeep, heavy, heartfelt condolences with ppl striving for Copyright protection. Sincere Apologies and I empathize their misery. I have downloaded aroun 150MB of Beatles from a sharing site. Am sorry again! btw on another note do you ppl feel guilty on enjoying such stolen stuff?? Tell me that you do not so that I feel better and not guilty ![]() |

I'm getting worried, I'm only 22, but already I find I'm losing touch with new music coming out, can't relate to it, and think a lot of it is shit. I keep replaying all my old favourites, but getting bored with them now as well.
Tell me it won't be like this forever?!! |

now i havent heard them for a while...i think you grow out of it...you acquire something new though the old ones always remain special~ my music is attached sometime to specific events and stages of life and with it the memories of those... oh there is plenty of new music thats good conor ...depends on which genre you are into or any new ones you want to try.. |

but why seek enjoyment in the new ones....there is a plethora of good oldies...I donot know one new singer these days besides of course those clearly seen Timberlake and Eminem etc. But these days I think am going back in time to Reggae, Pop and Classic Rock...The Beatles, Bob Marley, Bony M, Bobby McFerrin......they are just wonderful, AWESOME! Its been a time since I have played my fav collection (Bryan Adams, Enrique and the like). I am always in search of good music...that of course takes a lot of my time than I shud be spending on...but some 'serendipity' in music is worth the time and effort! ![]() now come on...the inventor of this nice thread cannot get bored with music! |

i've said it before, but i'm saying it again
check out www.pandora.com it's a great (free) way to find new music. you enter artists and titles that you like and then it creates a virtual radio station tailored to your taste. also no advertisements, just pure music. you can set up different radio stations, i have one for jazz, another for really old-timey stuff, another for hip/hop, etc. |
