THE FIXER

Artist: Pearl Jam
Composer: Pearl Jam
____________________

When somethings dark
Lemme shed a little light on it

When somethings cold
Lemme put a little fire on it

If somethings old
I wanna put a little shine on it

When somethings gone
I wanna fight to get it back again.

When somethings broke
I wanna put a little fixing on it

If somethings bored
I wanna put a little exciting on it

When somethings low
I wanna put a little high on it

When somethings lost
I wanna fight to get it back again

When signals cross
I wanna put a little straight on it

If there’s no love
I’m gonna try to love again

I’ll say your prayers
I’ll take your side
I’ll find us a way to make light

I’ll dig your grave
We’ll dance & sing.
Who knows, could be our last lifetime!

Pearl Jam's new sound is much rougher, dirty, lighter and just a screaming good time, sounding more like fresh surfer jams than classic Seattle garage rock. The sun finely got to shine through a little on the cloudy Northwest, I believe Eddie’s California roots are finely starting to show. Eddie attended high school in nearby Encinitas, California.

'O Sole Mio - I just love this song.
Was searching and listening to renditions by almost every great tenor on youtube last night: Caruso, Björling, Gigli, Pavarotti (solo, with Three Tenors, with Bryan Adams), Bocelli. Just woke up and still humming it, fresh start of the day!

The Three Tenors - O Sole Mio
Pavarotti - O Sole Mio - Di Capua
Bryan Adams & Luciano Pavarotti - 'O Sole Mio
Enrico Caruso - 'O SOLE MIO
Jussi Björling - O Sole Mio
Beniamino Gigli-O sole mio
Andrea Bocelli - 'O sole mio

Long day. Drink.

Carmen McRae singing 'Take Five'. Wonderful.

Wouldn't it be better
Not to be so polite
You could offer a light
Start a little conversation now
It's alright, just take five
Just take five

Dave Brubeck, "Take Five'-instrumental- is next.

South African rock band Prime Circle; love the lead singer's voice! They did a really great live performance at Hard Rock Cafe here in Delhi in August

I love 'Sunday Morning'. Infact, the whole album: Velvet Underground and Nico is a pure masterpiece of all sorts. Check out the other songs from that album, Femme Fatale, All Tomorrows Parties, Heroine
