Thumbs up The Rivers of the Mandala - recommended

We found a gorgeous book recently that I'd like to share with you all. It's called The Rivers of the Mandala, by Simon Allix and Benoit de Vilmorin. It's a mixture of sketchbook/travelogue/diary and some factual stuff on Buddhism and India in general. Basically it follows the journeys of two French brothers who spent the best part of ten years travelling in the Himalayas until one of them was tragically killed. The photographs and illustrations are wonderful and we love the quirky lay-out and the memories it brings back for us.

It's published by Thames and Hudson, and is available from Amazon. Enjoy.
