Tamil Movies
What are your favorite Tamil movies? I'm getting ready for a trip through Tamil Nadu; I'm a Bollywood fan but don't know anything about movies from the south...
What are your favorite books set in the south? Thanks!  |

i have never watched tamil movies, but i do enjoy tamil songs..
as for books set in the south, i love love love Swami and Malgudi Days. you know Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein, Jeans, Bombay, Roja etc were remakes from tam movies... of these, i only saw Roja. sorry i know i'm talking of the 90s but i don't know anything about the new movies. p.s. my sister told me about a recent kannada movie called Mungaru Male, she said it was good.. and probably it is, i really like 2-3 songs from the movie.
