My God bhai Nayan you would stirr up a hornest's nest...
Post master is a story that moved me when I was a very young fella
Another was Khudito Pashan (The hungry stones)
There was a TV serial featuring Boyemkesh Baksi I think.

I think we should start another thread on Jalsaghar it deserves that...

The TV serial of byomkesh bakshi was in Hindi. it was very nice. It had Rajat Kapoor as Byomkesh.

Khudito pashan is another case when the film is totally different from the story.... but the film is very good.

When age catches you up like it is doing to me you would hurry up and tend to say what you always wanted to say.... your voice... watch Agantuk where Ray voiced his opinion about us and our civilisation... time was running out for him....

i have actually read robi thakur's postmaster... gotta say - the movie was great, but the short story was awesome!

manihara - wasnt that the bhoot'er story? scared the heebeejeebies out of me.
i still remember that shrouded figure sitting on the banks of the river...
and at night when that horrendous skeleton comes bedecked with all that gold.
crikey.
