Rang De Basanti film on Uk tv
Its on Channel 4 on Sunday at 1.20am till 4.20am . Has been said its the best Indian film ever made . I bought the dvd of it in India and watched it and its a great film .
Get your dvd/video recorders set up to record it . Well worth watching . Just have to edit this. If your recording this movie set it for Monday 1.30 am. Last edited by patti123 : Nov 11th, 2007 at 14:58. |

Thought it would be more appropriate than in "Goa"
![]() Btw, havent seen the movie, but many would dispute the greatest Indian movie thing. I do know many, including in my family, saw it and liked it.

It might not be 'THE BEST' movie ever made, however it definitely is among the great works of Indian as well as world cinema..

It's alright, gets way too, ummm, tangent towards the end now thinking of it. Interesting side note, I used to bartend with a guy who was an extra in that film.

My experience: when it was over at last, I was positively angry at the makers for making me waste my time in such a bad manner.
My experience in sequence: The old Amir Khan cast as a student. Ridiculous. Nationalist pathos. Well, why not. Story gets crazier and crazier. More thick, fat, pathos. It drags on to a ridiculously implausible extremely violent finish. This one has put me off modern popular Indian cinema for good. I now take my dose of India from the mythological movies only. (Ram, Vishwamitra and so on.) |

oh that movie irritated me too..
and the best Aamir Khan movie IMHO is Andaaz Apna Apna. My next choice is Dil Chahta Hai, and then Dil.

Rang De Basanti would have been a great movie if they didn't gaudily overdo the ending. It sounded and looked like a cheap D grade movie towards the the end.

not the best
I agree with extremely violent ending. I think Amir Khan's Best movie is "Qayamat se qayamat tak"
