My daughter is looking for a line in Hindi from the movie Saawariya.

The translation below is taken from the subtitles.

"Don't ever love someone so much that you begin to hate yourself"

She wants to have it as a tattoo in Devanagari, but what little Hindi I know is far too poor to pick out the words or translate it myself.

The quote is said at approximately 39min, 20 secs into the movie.

Any help would be much appreciated by her.

Neither of you speak any Hindi, but the kid thinks the quote is cool. I think to have a tatoo in Hindi, first immerse in the culture too, like learn more about it.

A movie quote on her ass, won't make her smarter either.

We are leaving for our 2nd trip India in 3 days and she wants to ask friends there to write it in Devanagari for her if we can work out what is said exactly. I'll look elsewhere for any assistance, feel free to delete the thread.

A loose translation; I am sure there may be better attempts.

My guess is that he wants the exact sentence in the movie and in devanagari
