Went to see this amazing artist in a small venue concert along with a famous Tabla player - I have never seen anyone play a sitar live before, and it was unfathomable what a wide range of sounds can be produced. Nishat had to constantly retune the instrument - he gave it quite a workout. He'll be at Carnegie Hall soon and has a new CD coming out soon. Check it out!
