New York: India Now Film Festival at MOMA April 22-30, 2007
This promises to be a good festival and an opportunity to see some good Indian movies on a big screen.
Of the offerings I've seen Dor, which is very good and filmed mostly in Rajasthan, and Omkara, filmed in Uttar Pradesh. Both are great visually and in both movies India is photographed beautifully. Dor wasn't shown in theatres with subtitles until now. Museum of Modern Art India Now Film festival |
