Talking Music

I heard some really cool music while in India, but didn't manage to buy any CDs before I left. I particularly enjoyed the music that's great to chill to, played in many guesthouses and restaurants- just not sure how to describe it. It had a mix of classical sitar/tabla and modern beats. Anyone have suggestions for this kind, or other kinds of music to bring back the memories of Mother India?
