90% of the time when I'm listening to (hindu) temple music first thing in the morning, it's "Om Jai Jagdish Hare". Now I listen to it when I feel like a quick trip to India
![]() Thanks for that link to musicindiaonline though, I can now listen to either that or Oye Bubbly! (or my collection of Bollywood songs - but then I want to listen to them ALL) |

I's be suprised if Sabri Bros were not available on CD. Certains lots of Qawali will be.
Or perhaps you very specifically want this tape. ...well, there are sound cards, computers and CD writers... ... ... [But I never said that ]

Suprabhatam - has to be
From the OP, I would think that the song is definitely Venkatesa Suprabhatam. DD and crvlvr have pointed it out but I wish to emphasize and elaborate a bit. Melodious and complete - the suprabhatam (literally good morning), Prapatti, Mangalaashtakam (where the devotee wishes all goodness for god because in his love he forgets that god is omnipotent but love blinds him to wish for god's health and victory) are great to listen to in the morning. Of course other possibilities are there but Suprabhatam would be there in early morning. Fortunately, it is available for listening in many sites. I have heard that the suprabhatam was composed by Rishi Vishwamitra when he used it to gently awaken Lord Rama when he was a child.
I would recommend andhrakitchen.com to explore but it does not seem to be working these days. If it were OK, it has a better collection than musicindiaonline (in terms of quality and not qty.) |

Saptak
Just for your information, I just attended an incredible classical Indian music festival that occurs every year in January in Ahmendabad, Gujarat. It's called Saptak and you can buy recordings of the performances here http://saptak.org/
As for the morning devotional chanting, I listen to recoridngs of it all the time and it can be found all over India. Sita-Ram
