Hoi Joph:
Also there are two streams of Indian music on WinAmp Shoutcast. (films based music)
And even a video satsang channel... dont know who they target? Cos 60 year old wouldnt know how to use software. (wide generalisation.. but true(r) for Indians living abroad.)

Indians over 60 and software
Quote:
This statement shows how uninformed the poster is. I am 65 and I have been using software for the last forty years. I am from India living abroad. I can assure this forum that 80 percent of Indians over 60 living in U.S. do know and use software in their daily activities.

High Quality Indian Music Online
Many of the online Indian radio stations are of a disappointingly low sound quality.
Here's a french site with a very high quality 128 bps audio stream http://www.radiomasala.net/index.php
Tamil music at 96 bps
http://mp3.lrdns.com/
Punjabi music at 64 bps

Another good one that I have found is www.sanmradio.com. They do shows in Hindi, Bangla and Urdu. The Hindi one is from 1100 to 1500 EST.
Now I know how Jimmy Buffet feels.
I love to hear from http://radio.tejasri.in/2012/07/redfmhyd.html and raaga.com also.
