Mumbai's Underworld
Hi all, since landing here I've been following the big news about Mumbai Don Abu Salem's extradition and arrest. Well, I've always had a kind of obsession with true crime, it drove me to Sicily for 3 weeks a couple of years ago.
Anyway, just wondering is there any good books on the history of Mumbai's 'Don's', in particular Mr. Dawood and Mr. Salem himself? Thanking you! Conor.

The oft-referenced book "Maximum City" by Suketh Mehta has large sections on the Mumbai underworld, both from the standpoint of the D-company (Dawood) and the police. It's not a history, but it's a great read.
