Great thread!
My suggestion for anyone thinking of visiting a particular city is to search for that city and you'll find all the videos shot in that city. Then you can see how the traffic is, street scenes, clubs, restaurants, etc. I plugged in Chennai and came up with lots of videos -- one gal uploaded a video tour of their apt. in Chennai -- VERY nice for $160US per month! |

Oh dear
 I seldom manage to get more than the first few seconds of a youtube video, so I've given up trying them. I wish I could have brought my London internet connection with me!!! By the way: news is that Google now owns youtube, and some people in the media can't work out why, seeing as how it is [allegedly...] one huge mass of copyright violation and therefore one huge potrential liability. Comment from The Register here.
