Yes, that's the one I was talking about. That movie has not aged with time, even now when you see it, it rings a bell and makes us reflect on our life.
Apart from the Hitchcock movies, it's this movie and Philadelphia story which have made James Stewart one of my favourite actors from that era.

I must tell that that is actually a wonderful movie...very relevant in today's times !!

Yes, "It's a wonderful life" is the 1946 classic.... I simply love it. It's so positive, heartwarming and not at all boring.

In Germany it's mostly broadcasted on Christmas Eve, and i am looking forward to watching it again

I watched it couple of weeks back for the first time and it actually has entered my list of favorite movies...very contemporary storyline..I am sure I can watch it a number of times..

I'll second Pan's Labyrinth, Kung Fu Hustle and Babel, all amazing films that I could watch more than once (unusual for me).

I also love the Royal Tenenbaums (sp?), Knocked Up, Superbad and Little Miss Sunshine. They're all based on a relatively similar sense of humor so if you like one, the others are worth checking out.
