lord of the rings in dehli

a friend of mine is a huge fan of" The lord of the rings trilogy".
He is in South India since 5 1/2 weeks and wasn't enable to see part 2 in Germany.
Now he is going to Dehli in about 2 weeks
(to meet me ...) and he will try to see the film there.
Do you think (or do you even know) there is a cinema in dehli who shows "The lord of the rings, part 2" in english?
I can't remember a cinema in India showing anything else than an indian film.

If he's in the south and near Bangelore then he can definately find a movie theater there showing western films. I had no problem catching the Austin Power flick while in Bangelore...

The Priya Cinema in Visant Vihar in South Delhi is the big English speaking movie theater (also has other branches in the city).

I am not sure if the "LOTR Two Towers" is playing yet. On the Priya website it's listed as coming soon with no exact date given.

If your friend is a huge fan there is also the International Lord of the Rings Meetup Day in Delhi coming up. More info can be found on their website International Lord of the Rings Meetup Day

Cheers

It is said that the Indian version is shortened (now who would expect that in India ? ) about half an hour :
