Kiss Kiss, Bang Bangalore

I was wondering if anyone has seen that new Season 17 episode of The Simpsons, where Mr. Burns outsources the nuclear power plant to Bangalore, and Homer runs the plant while Mr. Burns travels India (where he floats down the Ganges with his "friends"). I found some parts of the episode hilarious. I loved the ending too where everybody just starts dancing to Kishore Kumar's Pal Bhar Ke Liye. If you haven't seen it, I urge you to watch it, and if you have seen it, what are some of your thoughts?

Just kickstarting this thread again, I think all Indians and Indophiles should watch this episode. Simpsons fan or not.

If I could get the Simpsons here I'd let the television back into the living room!

That's the one. I've got the episode on my computer. Not the funniest Simpsons episode ever, but a good one for Indian lovers.

Move that TV.

from http://www.startv.com/india.html

Programmes including Friends, Seinfeld and The Simpsons are now shown five days a week on STAR WORLD in India due to popular demand.

Since we talk TV, anybody knows if the main title theme of the "Battlestar Galactica" has anything to do with Sanskrit?
I think that I heard some "Swaha" and stuff like that?

I don't know, but you can get your Google to read Klingon: http://www.google.com/intl/xx-klingon/

Ivan, you're right. The title theme to Battlestar Galactica has the Gayatri Mantra in it.

It's also the best show on TV.

I saw the episode on Sunday. True, it's not one of the best, but interesting to India fans. Also, our company has "a daughter company" in India, so... it was interesting.
