Kabbalistic Kirtan
A friend sent me a link today on "Kabbalistic Kirtan".
"Susan Deikman, a Jewish Renewal musician and composer ... has combined the ecstatic Hindu music, known as kirtan, with Jewish mystical lyrics - calling the fusion "kabbalistic kirtan." For those interested check out the site http://www.kabbalahkirtan.com/index.html (I am not in any way related to this endeavor, nor have I even heard the music. Just posting in case someone may be interested.) |
