is 'sivakasi' a movie

i have in front of me a flyer advertising a deepavali attraction - they are showing a movie that i think is called 'sivakasi'. it is a bit hard to tell because the photocopying is not that good.
my questions are a) is this a movie (i did a search and all i came up with was references to the firework factory) and b) if it is a movie, is it worth seeing?

Sivakasi is a place where most of the fireworks factories are located. Fireworks are an integral part of Diwali celebration. Recently due anti child labour & no cracker campaigns the industry is facing bad time.

Yes, it's a movie. As to the merits of watching a tamil lang film....rare is the day when I'll recommend anyone to watch them. :-).

wait a minute, for that matter any movie be it Hollywood or Indian movies.

But "lock stock and 2 smoking barrels", now that's a movie. wacky.

Sivakasi is a movie worth watching ...not for the movie itself.. but for the audience' reaction to the every move their hero [on screen] makes.

The first few days are going to be electric in the theatres...but i m afraid that u wont get a seat/ticket.

You wont have difficulty understanding the language...as a mixture of English[Indianised] and Tamil will be used.

I guess the hero [lead star] hails from Sivakasi ...and does one blast of a role...hence the movie is named such. further, it is being released during 'Diwali'.

thanks guys. we don't get many indian films here so i think that i will go, regardless of the quality. and one of the things i was looking forward to was the audience.
