Apprently Darjeeling is going mad with Indian Idol fever - finalist Prashant TAMANG is from Darj - apparently all in Darj are celebrating already... ...

Bad luck for Amit Paul......he really deserved it....Prashant comes nowhere close to him when it comes to versatility and overall singing quality

Probably the first case of an open international border helping a contestant in a domestic show!
People came from as far away as 300 km inside Nepal to vote for Prashant!

I was in Gangtok in June, and even at that time there was lot of craze over there...

there were posters on all the cars, shops etc to Vote for Prashant, and people were simply loving it...

And that was 3 months before today, when the contest was far from over..
