the events are free, but online registration is required to reserve the complimentary tickets( and painless). i've registered for the new york city event. hope to see other IMers there.

You can silently chant Macha Macha Macha during the film. The main character rings a bell but then all Bauls seem to be called something Das. Too bad they don't seem to have Baul musicians but it would have become costly I imagine, they don't tend to travel solo for one thing.

It is a good appreciative effort to let the world know about India. Moreover, these events create awareness about India hence encourage the influx of tourists.
