Very nice Beach, but a student of Mexican history would take exception to some of these claims. (Not trying to be argumentative, just sharing info.)

The Mayan civilization is also credited with discovering the zero, having the earliest and most accurate calendar system (to this day) based on their knowledge of astronomy, and being well ahead of the rest of the world in writing and architecture.

Unfortunately, when the Spanish invaded Mexico, they destroyed everything they came across in their religious zeal, so records are rather sketchy, but more continually is being discovered.

For the record, a lot of those statistics do *not* have citations like those forbes->sanskrit one, the NASA employees one. Some are made up and some are tangentially true and some correct.

The science is knowing which is which. Bose beating Marconi in wireless discovery is true but will never be known outside, probably. Just like the Brazilian who made the first flight a couple of years before the Wright brothers. He killed himself when he saw to what use the airplanes were used for during the Great War.(saw this on BBC)

This CEO thing is meaningless anyway, as they too will be replaced by others.
