Thanks, Captain, for the comment. I will try to get the film here, or borrow it from someone.

'Earth Pilgrim' BBC2 Friday 18/01/08 (UK)

Interesting article in a newspaper today about an upcoming documentary featuring an Indian-born Jain Monk, 71 year-old Satish Kumar and his thoughts about ecology and nature as he roams Dartmoor in S.W. England.
The article isn't particularly well written but it suggests that he has some interesting things to say - probably well worth watching.
If only I owned a tv . . . nah, I'll visit friends!
Johnny.

Edit - oops, that'll be at 8pm.

I just finished seeing it for the first time on Discovery (the part about Kanishka and the Kushan empire.
Prancing? Dunno, I didn't think so.
But patronising creep? Not at all, I thought he was very good.
Very well-researched too.
