Guitar in Dehra Doon/Shimla
I'm yearning for my guitar. Im in Rishikesh atm. I should have brought a guitar in Delhi but it was too intense for me so I had to get out and head for the hills. Do you know of any good instrument shops in Dehra Doon/Shimla for a guitar? Please reply asap! Many thanks, Carl.
edit: i acidently used someone elses account, damn. |

Hey mate,
I'm not too sure as it's been around 9 months since I was in Rishikesh but I was sure in Ram Jula or Laxman Jula there were a couple of shops that sold Doholock and other sort Indian drums... but it's hard to remember if they had guitars. Usually from memory they would but they were those guitar's branded 'STAR'. Which in my opinion weren't of the best quality (best of a band bunch). But I can recommend the fabulous titled Givison Guitars. I bought mine from a bunch of drum shop dudes in Varkala way back in November of last year, travelled with it all the way through India and am still using it today in London. And for Rs2500 you can't go wrong! So in answer to your question, don't know if there are places but if you do buy a Givison!! |
