BHOPAL: THE SEARCH FOR JUSTICE
On December 2 1984, the world's worst industrial disaster occurred in Bhopal, India, when a leak from a chemical pesticide plant resulted in the death of 15,000 people and the maiming of hundreds of thousands more. In the years since, the survivors have been denied scientific and medical studies concerning the long-term effects. Filmmakers Lindalee Tracey, Peter Raymond and Harold Crooks tell the troubling legacy of this tragedy — poisoned water, "gas widows," genetic abnormalities in later generations — and the continuing quest for justice.
