Film: John and Jane Toll-Free

today's ny times has a review of a documentary film i saw last (edit) year, before it's release, when it was part of the new directors/new films festival here in new york. it's called "john and jane toll-free." it's about - you guessed it - call center workers in india and the effects, personal and cultural, of this industry. it's an illuminating and engaging documentary.

i will definitely see this again now that it's in wide release and i know more about (and have been to!) india. hopefully "wide-release" will be wi-i-i-i-ide release. good film.
