Dr. Gajaprishthakara - the new face of Poppy Umbrellas?

I was approached by a friend at one of my haunts today. He said that they were looking for a foreigner (it may shock you to know that I am not, in fact, indian) for an ad for Poppy Umrellas that was to be shot tomorrow on the backwaters. They put me on the phone to the talent scout who said that I would be transported, fed and paid. The ad would appear on television and in cinemas across India. He said that they had filmed the 'girl' during the day and that tomorrow he would film me twirling an umbrella on a houseboat. I suggested that we meet and he arrived within 30 mins. He got out of the car and we exchanged pleasantries. He then said 'oh you are very old, yaa?!' (i am a young looking 42). Some words were exchanged in Malaylam with the others, he turned, got into his car and drove away.

Anyway, I have quite a lot of things to do tomorrow - shopping, I have to find a comfortable computer chair, take the dog for a walk - that sort of thing.

naturally, I am the dashing, young [cough] man who lures a woman to separate from her husband on a cruise. She becomes concerned only when she realizes that I have brought to india a guitar which I can't play. the final straw is when I urinate in the cabin sink.
