Doumentary.. "The broken people"

Hi All...

Here's a documentary on the injustice and maltreatment of the lower caste peoples of India....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yc7iiFPDbDc

It's in 3 parts...

May this system come to an end, and the lower caste people be treated with equality...

Love ,
Soul

Thanks for pointing it out. Depressing but glad to see people talking and acting against it.

A wonderful film on Mother Teresa, I have watched many times and enjoy it each time that I do. actress Olivia Hussey has spoken of her delight at being chosen to play Mother Teresa of Calcutta in a new television series for Italian TV, produced by Lux Vide. It was shown around the time of the beatification of the world's most famous nun, October 2003.

Absolutely depressing. When I'm in India and see here and there this things, drives me off the country promising myself not to come back and to forget India forever. Cannot understand how this things still remains in the country of the spirituality.

Yes ... is painful to feel when watching this....
I had the same thoughts about not returning to India, but still, there are ignorant people all over the world, it's just that India has a large population so even ignorance is magnified...
I guess we all have our own unconscious patterns to look at and let go of...
India still has so much beauty and the old teachings are amazing...It's just that many of the upper caste who are priests, don't get what the teachings really point to which is that we are all One...
They don't quite live it yet as they are caught in parroting the texts and blind ritual... May their eyes open... There is a lot of opposition from the upper caste.... as I have seen in a Hindu forum I posted this doco on....

Peace to All,
Soul
