Does this make sense in Hebrew?

The following is a YouTube clip from a 1965 film called Main Hoon Alladin. The song is an adaptation of the Hebrew Hava Nagila sung playback by Usha Khanna. My question to the Hebrew speakers on IM is, "Does the text still make sense in Hebrew or has it been turned into gibberish?"

Doesn't sound much like the original to me; but, nu, what do I know? Kudos to the corsetière though.

There's one line that wasn't changed from the original, "Hava neranena". It means "let us rejoice".

"Hawa aziza" means something like "beloved wind" in Arabic.
I think I also picked the Arabic greeting "Marhaba".

I think the lyrics are just supposed to be pseudo Arabic.

Thanks! Hindi films are expert at lifting tunes without acknowledgement. I suppose it was just meant to sound exotic.

ah, Hava Nagila, I've always loved that tune! Now it's gonna be stuck in my head all afternoon :X

Yeah it's funny how there's Hindi adaptations to other songs. Did anyone see My Name is Khan? I didn't realize till that movie that there was a Hindi version of the song "We will overcome" "Hum honge kamyab" I like the Hindi version though it's nice!
