Does anyone know who's who in the Gandhi salt march monument?

I went recently to take photographs of the monument and got interested in taking the individual characters of the monuments. It looks pretty interesting including the last person in the monument who is old and looks almost too wear out to walk anyone. Some walk arm in arm, some walk on their own, all some distance from Gandhi.

However, the information board said nothing about who is who, and i tried searching online but saw no further information on the specifics of the monument. I wonder if anyone here has any links with regards to that?

search for "Gyarah Murti"...

I was there couple of weeks back with a friend, and noticed that all others besides Gandhi ji were not famous names. The artist has just shown people from different from various communities and religions. This was to show that India was unified for this cause.

can you please find one that is in the public

ic. i was trying to figure out if some of them are important people like nehru, gandhi's wife or important leaders representing the sikh and muslims. i will post my pictures later to see if any of them are known personnels rather than fictionous.

these figures are meant to represent the various sections of indian society, although why they should all be following gandhi i will never know.

understood. but really curious as to whether there is any one from the church who joins the salt march (with a guy dressed like a reverend)....

from what i read, the salt march is one of the major event that brought the west to empathise with the wish of the indians, but i'm not sure if the local christian community is involved earlier than that or during the salt march.
